I'll tell you what he stands for. He wants each and
everyone's voice's heard in the Bowling
Green area. I've known Rick for a long time and i know
that he will go above and beyond to make sure that people are getting what they
want and what
they deserve. Rick is a hardworking man that puts his heart and
soul into everything. His family are all good people, and i know they stand for
what is right. Yes Rick is a Republican, but City commisioner is non-partician
and their party has nothing to do with the decisions made in this city. The
decisions are all about making this city a better, cleaner, place. Let's not
forget that in the past one person that is running again (Slim) has used OUR
tax dollars to build a skate park. That's exactly where i want my dollars going,
NOT! If you know anything about coorperations, then you know that Insight, TKR,
and Storer Cable were all big coorperations and Rick had someone higher to
answer to. When you are the manager of a coorperation
you do not make the prices, you follow what the people above you are telling
you that the prices and policies are. Let's say you're manager at the local Walmart...Their main office is not in BG, and neither
were any of the cable companies. Do you get blamed when the prices at Walmart go up because you'r boss at
coorperate makes them that way? NO! You complain to the big boss at Coorperate.
So let me make this clear again, IT WAS NOT ANYONE IN BOWLING GREEN'S FAULT
THAT THE PRICES AND POLICIES WERE THE WAY THEY WERE and they stand that way
today even as Time
Warner Cablehas taken over. Jerry Avery ( the new GM ) still
doesnt make all the rules, as the same as Rick didnt when he was GM. You want
your cable bill to go down? switch to Direct TV and see how much you miss your
cable when it rains. Let me also state that you are still complaining about the
fact that your insight bill is high, Rick hasnt been there for over 5 years
now, so obviously he wasnt the problem. IT'S A COORPERATION THING NOT A CITY
THING!!!!!!And you talk about your taxes being raised? Rick won't do that. He won't raise the taxes to build a freaking skate park when there are numerous ISSUES that need to be taken care of and they could've been taken care of with less tax money than it took to build the skate park.
now forget about paying any money again for cable just check this out: http://tinyurl.com/8b8p8z7
